Mokah-Jasmine Johnson began speaking and teaching in 2009 while pursuing her MS Degree in Education Media Design and Technology at Full Sail University. She launched VIP Girlz youth program in 2010, as a way to inspire young women through dancing and music. While operating a small grass-root marketing and event promotions in Athens, Ga with her husband and business partner Knowa D. Johnson, mokah jumped head first into the world of activism by initiating and co-organizing the “Athens Anti-Discrimination March and Rally,” January 18, 2016, (MLK Jr. Holiday) to protest against Downtown bar and business owners who allegedly displayed discriminatory behavior toward African American students and residents.
